Angola is a country located in Southern Africa and it is bordered by the Republic of Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Zambia and Namibia.
Known for its stunning landscapes, welcoming people and for the famous Brazilian dance the Samba, which is thought to have originated in Angola. Once a Portuguese colony up until 1975 when they declared independence, the country’s official language is Portuguese.
Although still recovering from a violent civil war, the country is rich in natural resources and home to the second-largest waterfall in Africa, as well as plenty of other incredible landscapes, making Angola a vibrant fascinating country with lots to offer visitors.
Luanda Views and Natural Wonders

The Fortress of Sao Miguel is a fascinating visit for history lovers as it contains a military museum showcasing the country’s war history throughout the years.
The majestic Kalandula Falls is the second-highest waterfall in Africa after the magnificent Victoria Falls and the cascading falls are surrounded by lush greenery and dense foliage.
Another fantastic waterfall to visit is the beautiful Dala Falls which offers magical rainbow views of the mist and spray from the cascading water. The mythical Dilolo Lake is the largest in the country, teeming with wildlife including rare bird species and fascinating aquatic life.
