The Czech Republic is famous for its bee,r and it is the birthplace of pilsne. And The country drinks more beer per capita than anywhere else in the world, and in the capital city,y Prague, you’ll be surrounded by fantastic places to drink beer.
Unravel Prague’s Historic Charm
The country is jam-packed with medieval castles. It has more castles than anywhere else in Europe, with an astonishing 2,000 castles and chateaux. Prague Castle is perhaps the most famous one.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the castle dominates the city and is made up of many palaces and buildings. It is considered one of the world’s largest castle complexes.
The city of Prague itself is a historical delight with plenty of places to explore the history of the country. Nicknamed “the City of a Hundred Spires”, there are gothic churches, fairytale buildings and the beautiful medieval Charles Bridge, which stretches across the Vltava River.
Medieval Majesty
The Czech Republic is also home to some magnificent national parks. The Giant Mountains are the highest mountain range in the country, with plenty of hiking trails taking you through moorlands and past beautiful waterfalls.
There is also a unique beer trail that takes you past the highest breweries in the country for a different spin on a hiking trail! Magical Bohemian Switzerland is a magical Swiss-like national park with lush forests, valleys and majestic rocks protruding up from the ground,d giving it a fairytale feel.
The entire country is like something out of a picture book, and you will be awestruck wherever you go.
