France’s Attractions

Capital Of Love

The capital city of Paris has plenty to offer travellers of all ages. Museums, monuments, art, fashion and one of the most famous landmarks in the world – the Eiffel Tower.

The city is a vibrant, cosmopolitan blend of historical buildings such as the Arc de Triomphe and the Notre Dame, to the modern glass pyramid of the Louvre museum and the world-famous shopping area of Avenue des Champs-Élysées.

It is separated into 20 arrondissements, each with its unique offering, from luxury shopping in the 1st to the quaint, cobbled streets of Montmartre in the 18th.

Beyond Paris

As well as Paris, France has many beautiful cities and towns to explore, such as Lille, Lyon, Nantes, Bordeaux and Nice.

The 13 different regions of the country all offer many activities for prospective travellers. Skiing in the French Alps is a popular pastime, and the area attracts many tourists during the winter months, trying their hand at various winter sports.

Provence, Bordeaux and Champagne are all popular regions known for their production of wine and, of course, Champagne, and the south of France is the glitzy coastal gem where the rich and famous flock to enjoy the sun-soaked shores of the French Riviera.
