As Director and Travel Consultant at Holiday Hamster, Hayley Walker takes genuine joy in helping clients plan their perfect getaway. She loves being part of the whole journey, from the early excitement of choosing a destination to hearing about all the fantastic experiences when they return. For Hayley, seeing that happiness never gets old.
Her travel career began with a bold career change and a clear idea. Hayley combined her in-depth knowledge of Disneyland Paris with a gap she spotted in the market, and that spark led to the creation of Holiday Hamster. Over the years, she has planned everything from relaxed beach escapes to detailed multi-stop itineraries, including a standout trip to Iceland that blended boutique hotels, spectacular views and a carefully crafted experience from start to finish.
Hayley is best known for her expertise in Disney, including Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World, and Disney Cruise Line. She also loves helping clients celebrate special occasions with memorable trips. Her top travel tip is simple: always have your next holiday booked before you get back. It makes coming home that much easier.

From a young age, I was lucky enough to go on numerous family holidays. I enjoyed visiting new places and learning about the history and culture – even *trying* to speak the local language! This I am sure is where my love for travel began. Since then, I have journeyed tens of thousands of miles, visited a wide variety of countries and am always looking to plan the next adventure with my family.
I am a self confessed Disney fan (some might say nerd) as I read about, love and collect all things Disney. In fact, one of the things I like to do more than anything is to head over to Disneyland Paris for a few days to relax, take in some Disney magic and add to my ever-growing pin collection. After all, it’s practically on our doorstep so it would be rude not to! Over the years, there are so many hints and tips that I have picked up first hand, which I love to share with my customers when they’re booking a Disney holiday. One of my personal travel goals is to experience every Disney Park, Resort and Cruise Ship in one spectacular trip. °o°
Since leaving education over 20 years ago, I have always worked in the travel and hospitality industry, interacting with people on a face to face basis and helping them. This is one of the things I love most about working at Holiday Hamster – meeting and getting to know the customers so that I can plan their perfect holiday with them, wherever in the world they want to go.
I can honestly say I’m extremely proud to be working for Holiday Hamster. Everyone on the team shares a passion for travel. Just like me, each Travel Consultant wants to help our customers plan their holidays from the moment they first contact us, until after they return home and call or pop in to tell us all about it (often sharing their holiday snaps too). Hearing all of their stories gives me great job satisfaction and is why I love being part of Holiday Hamster!

My name is Steph, and I recently joined the team at Holiday Hamster in January 2024. I am really excited to embark on this next chapter in my travel career.
My career in travel started back in 1998, after completing a Travel and Tourism course at college. After that, I travelled the world as a flight attendant. I moved from commercial airlines to private aircraft in 2005, where I was lucky enough to operate the private jets for the Qatari Royal Family. I then settled back in the UK, continuing to fly for private jets until having my daughter in 2016.
I am passionate about travel, and I love spending quality time with my family and friends in my spare time.

Hello, I’m Lydia!
I am Holiday Hamster’s Marketing Manager; I get to combine my passion for travel with my job, creating fun and inspiring content to help you discover amazing destinations!!
After living and working in Spain for a year, I discovered my love of travel and was lucky enough to spend my free time exploring the country and its incredible culture! I have continued this love of travel by visiting multiple new countries on my bucket list this past year!
I am a huge foodie and love being outdoors, whether it’s hiking up a mountain or exploring a new city… and of course documenting all my fun memories along the way on social media!

Sinead Collins is Holiday Hamster’s Content Creator, bringing ideas to life through words and visuals that spark excitement. She thrives on the creativity her role offers and loves seeing her work make a real impact, especially when it helps clients get excited about their next adventure.
Sinead joined the team through a Content Creator Apprenticeship, which she completed with distinction. With a passion for both travel and storytelling, she found the perfect match in her role. Sinead enjoys working within a close-knit team, constantly learning more about the industry, and using her skills to show what makes Holiday Hamster different.
Luxury holidays are where Sinead finds the most inspiration. She enjoys crafting content that helps people picture themselves enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime escape, whether that’s relaxing by the pool or living it up somewhere special. Her hope is that every piece she creates leaves people feeling inspired, excited and confident that they’re in safe hands.

We are looking for people to join our team who have a passion for travel and would go the extra mile to help find the most incredible holiday experience for our customers.
Do I Need Experience?
Experience working in a travel environment is preferred but not essential.
Is Training Given?
Yes. All new team members receive full training, with the opportunity to increase their product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
Essential Skills
• GCSE Level equivalent in Maths and English.
• Proven experience dealing with customers.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High levels of accuracy.
• Working knowledge of Word Processing, Spreadsheets and Emails.
Desirable Skills
• High level of interest in travel and country specific geography.
• Knowledge of Travel Reservation Systems.
• Experience cross and/or up selling to customers in person or over the phone.
