We have an exciting opportunity for a confident individual with a passion for travel. Holiday Hamster is looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to add to their growing team of award-winning experts. The successful candidate will be provided with full support from our team to develop their skills and product knowledge.
Job Description
As a Travel Consultant, you will listen to the customer, find out what they want and create something to match their holiday requirements.
Duties will include
- Consistently provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers face-to-face, via telephone or by email.
- Ask the right questions, listen to what the customer wants and needs in order to find the most suitable product for them.
- Create and sell travel packages using our vast array of partners.
- Produce eye-catching and accurate quotations, ensuring all details and prices are correct.
- Take part in regular training, including overseas educational visits, to continuously develop product knowledge.

Skills Required
- Minimum of 2 Years of Travel Agent experience or a similar role.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent listener.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to use your own initiative.
- Work as part of a team.
- Good Florida product knowledge.
Qualifications Required
- GCSE English
- GCSE Maths
Training
- Opportunity to increase product knowledge through various in-house and online training courses.

Other Information
- Working Week: 30 hours, spread over four days, from Tuesday to Saturday.
