Lisbon: The Trendy European Capital

Let’s continue the journey to Lisbon, one of Europe’s trendiest capital cities. Tourists visiting the city should take a tram ride through Alfama, the oldest district in Lisbon. You will be amazed at how close the tram runs to buildings and walls, so close that you can touch them. Sample Portugal’s famous pasties de nata at the historic and iconic Antiga Confeitaria de Belem, where it was first made in the 19th century. Don’t forget to take a photo of its beautiful ceramic tiles designed in white and blue.

Enchanting Sintra

Known for its grand palaces and ornate gardens, Sintra, located just a 30-minute train ride from Lisbon, is the next stop. This charming Portuguese village is famous for its cultural and historical richness. It boasts of striking castle tops, romantic villas, and old chapels. Be sure to visit Pena Palace, which looks like it is straight from a fairytale, set on top of a mountainous forest with breathtaking views. Sun-soaked Algarve
